Welcome Job Seekers!

We are a nonprofit organization in the Portland, Oregon area that has been helping job seekers and those in career transition for over 15 years. Our services are free to job seekers. We strive to break through the clutter of conflicting advice and provide clarity to help you progress and land your next job.

Our Services:

Monday Meetings: Guest speakers at our weekly in-person meetings at Lake Grove Presbyterian Church in Lake Oswego share best practices and offer advice to enhance your job search.  Our sponsor is the Lake Grove Presbyterian Church, but our group is non-denominational, and all are welcome. Additionally, you'll benefit from networking with other job seekers and supporting one another through what can be a difficult process.

Skill Builder Workshops are in-depth online workshops on essential topics, including Resumes, Networking, LinkedIn, and Job Search Strategy.

Other Meetings: Study Halls and Getting Started Forums offer additional ways to help accelerate your search.

Website with Curated Job Search Content: Staying up-to-date can be challenging, and there is a lot of misinformation out there. We offer resources and links to trusted advice in the Learn section of our website to help you understand the ever-changing job search process.

Bi-Weekly Newsletter: Job search tips and upcoming events. Sent to all job seekers who submit a Job Seeker Input Form (Google form). You may unsubscribe at any time.

Private LinkedIn Group: Members of our community post job opportunities and links to helpful information. Subscribe by going to Connect/Join Our LinkedIn Group at the top of our home page.

One-on-One Mentoring: Volunteer mentors, available to those who complete our onboarding process, can provide accountability and encouragement as you progress through your search. Working with a mentor is optional.

The Job Search Roadmap

We use the outline below to help guide you through what can be a complex process. If you break this process into smaller steps, it will feel much less overwhelming. The job search process is not linear, and you will be working on multiple steps at the same time, but using this roadmap will help to bring some order to the chaos.
