Waiting For a Mentor Assignment?
We know that a job search can be overwhelming, and you may have many questions, e.g., where to start, how to determine what steps to take and which ones are most important to do first, how to update your resume, where to apply for jobs, and even how to manage your time or workday.
The Getting Started Forum is an online meeting, available weekly, where job seekers on the wait list for a Mentor can discuss challenges and get answers to their questions about the job search process.
Workshops are on Thursdays, 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. via Zoom

First Meeting with Your Mentor
When assigned, your mentor will contact you to arrange an initial meeting.
Be sure you've completed the assigned homework from the Orientation Meeting prior to your first meeting with your mentor. Find it on the "Get Started | Assess Your Next Steps" page.
Send your Self-Assessment Summary Table (WORD) to your mentor before your first meeting. Your mentor may also request the latest version of your resume.
