We used to recommend practicing in the mirror or in the car, which is still helpful. 

Saying your answers out loud vs. just thinking about them makes all the difference. 

However, there are now many tools available to help you start practicing your interview answers and also getting feedback, an essential step in feeling prepared.

Live Mock Interviews

Practice interviewing with a few mentors and receive immediate, actionable feedback to help refine your answers and truly shine in your live interviews: 

  • If you have a mentor: talk to them about scheduling a mock interview. It can be helpful to do this BEFORE you have a high-pressure live interview scheduled.
  • If you are not yet working with mentor: email us at info@jobseekerslo.org (with as much notice as possible) and we will do our best to schedule a mock interview for you.

  • Mock interviews are available virtually but can often be scheduled in person if you prefer.
