Goodwill Job Connection career centers provide job seekers with personalized resources, training, and advice. Job seekers are paired with an Employment Specialist in their area. Career Centers locally include SE Portland and Wilsonville. While Goodwill used to primarily help those with developmental disabilities, they have changed their focus to help anyone with barriers to employment, which they define very broadly.

They also run well-attended career fairs where you can meet with employers face-to-face. Find out about career fairs by getting on the WorkSource mailing list - https://www.worksourceoregon.org/jobseekers then scroll to the bottom of the page.
