Ellen Raim, of People Matter LLC, helps small and medium-sized businesses build the "people infrastructure" they need to grow and succeed. She also coaches early-career professionals to navigate workplace challenges and thrive in their careers. Combining skills in organizational design, behavioral science, employment law and HR strategy, Ellen helps leaders and early career professionals work well and thrive together.

Ellen's journey started as an employment lawyer, where she saw firsthand the fallout of poorly designed workplace cultures and processes. From this experience, Ellen pivoted into HR and dedicated her career to building better workplaces.

Over the years, she's earned advanced degrees in organizational design and behavioral science, worked as an HR executive in multiple global organizations, and guided employees across 14 countries. From SaaS to semiconductors, aviation, and high-tech manufacturing, Ellen has seen what works—and what doesn’t—when it comes to creating cultures that drive business success.
